Aarsleff Pipe Technologies has extensive experience of rat extermination. Our Aarsleff CIPP Lining is an effective remedy for rat extermination.

With Aarsleff CIPP Lining, we are able to tighten many types of pipes efficiently. This has a very negative effect on life conditions of rats as e.g. cracks and holes disappear and are replaced by a strong liner. In our experience, tight pipes are the best remedy for rat extermination – whether we are dealing with public sewerages or private sewers - vertical as well as horizontal.

We have developed Aarsleff Rat Control – an efficient method for blocking unused laterals from a sewer main pipe. It is a brand new method: We mount the blocking from the main pipe. From a manhole, an Aarsleff Rat Control is transported to the unused lateral where it is installed and filled with quickly curing concrete. Once the curing is completed, we withdraw our equipment. The result is an efficient blocking of the lateral.

Aarsleff Rat Control is the only VA approved product for blocking unused sewers in Denmark. This new product has two obvious advantages in contrast to spot repair. First, installation of Aarsleff Rat Control does not influence the hydraulic outflow of wastewater. Second, the supply companies are not forced to spend resources on removing spot repairs in connection with the preparation of future renewal work.

Aarsleff Rat Control also solves the problem in the sewers ending in an outlet in a big sewer or an overflow chamber as, in most cases, it must only be installed from one manhole.
