New partnering agreement in Aarhus

On 22 September 2009, Aarsleff Pipe Technologies signed an extensive partnering agreement with the water and wastewater department of Aarhus Municipality. The agreement comprises No-Dig renewal of sewer pipes in the entire municipality.

The contract runs from 1 January 2010 until 31 December 2015 and has a total value of approx. DKK 20 million a year. Naturally, many different jobs are involved in an agreement of this size. For instance, we are to carry out TV inspections, analyse jobs and of course install e.g. Aarsleff CIPP Lining.

At Aarsleff Pipe Technologies, we are of course both pleased and proud that Aarhus Municipality has chosen us as a partner in a close and extensive partnering agreement. We have extensive experience in using partnering as a form of working relationship. As a matter of fact, the signed contract is in continuation of a partnering agreement that we entered into with Aarhus Municipality back in 2006 and will be finished on 31 December 2009.

In May 2009, Aarhus Municipality put out the job to tender. We submitted our bid at the end of June and after positive negotiations, we signed the contract in September.

When we enter into partnering, we experience that together with the other partners we continuously develop the joint project as well as the individual partners in a positive way. It is very inspiring for all parties involved to be part of a partnering agreement where we all work with common and clearly defined visions, objectives and strategies. This makes the execution of our work much easier.
