Bypass pumping
Since we carried out the first No-Dig pipe renewal in Holstebro in 1979, Aarsleff Pipe Technologies has continuously developed new products, methods and technologies. As a result, we have developed known products such as Aarsleff Hat Profile and Aarsleff CIPP Lining. As the leading company in the field, we are constantly focusing on developing all the many specialist areas which together constitute a No-Dig renewal process. One of these specialist areas is bypass pumping.
We are experts in bypass pumping, and we are able to establish bypass pumping in connection with all renewal projects, irrespective of scope. Approx. half of the renewal projects which we carry out today require bypass pumping. Bypass pumping is an important part of a renewal process as it creates ideal working conditions for our employees as well as our high-technology equipment. Thus, bypass pumping is an important element in relation to our objective of a constant high quality level when we carry out our jobs while having strong focus on safety and finances.
Large-dimension pipes constitute a special challenge. Only in rare cases is sealing an actual possibility. Therefore, we often have to pump even very large amounts of water over long stretches, e.g. over roads, parking areas or through buildings. In many cases, our competencies and advanced pumping equipment are the reason that we are able to carry out large renewal projects with only minimum disturbance to traffic, citizens and companies. We simply lead the water the way that causes minimum disturbance to the surroundings.
