Redudant manholes
Aarsleff Pipe Technologies has considerable experience in the sealing up of manholes no longer in use e.g. due to relocation of a major pipe system. It always makes good sense to seal up manholes no longer in use, as this yields savings as concerns future renewals and maintenance. Throughout the years, we have developed specialist methods for efficient manhole sealing of even highly impassable manholes. And today, we can seal up all types of manholes effectively.
All our decisions concerning inspection, renewal and sealing up of manholes are based on a thorough preliminary work for which we use CCTV inspection to record and document the precise condition of the manholes and pipe sections in question. Our state-of-the-art CCTV vehicles and specially trained operators always form a solid basis for decisions. To Aarsleff Pipe Technologies, this preliminary work is of crucial importance. Only with the right knowledge available, can we and our clients choose the most optimised solutions in terms of finances, methods and environment.
Manhole sealing up constitutes an important part of Aarsleff Pipe Technologies’ No-Dig product range, and Aarsleff CIPP Lining is an integrated part of our manhole sealing methods.
Aarsleff CIPP Lining consists of an acid-proof, resin-impregnated polyester felt liner. We manufacture liners in all lengths and in wall thickness ranging from 3 mm to 50 mm. We can customise AARSLEFF CIPP Linings to allow, for instance, that main pipes of different dimensions can be renewed in one sequence of operations. Flexibility has been a keyword throughout the many years we have worked on developing sophisticated No-Dig methods. For instance, we use Aarsleff CIPP Lining for renewal of kitchen downpipes, vent ducts, main pipes and sealing up of manholes.
