The environment

High standards for the environment and health and safety at work are a unifying principle in all activities at Aarsleff Pipe Technologies. We are very much aware of the importance of focusing on the environment as well as health and safety at work in the short run and in the long run. It is the only rational view if we want to protect our world, and if we want to create a good and healthy workplace for all employees. 

We consider our services a coherent whole where quality development and the use of new technologies ensure a constant improvement of our environmental impact, energy consumption and CO2 load.

We use many resources developing new environmentally friendly products, techniques and working processes. For example, we focus on the development of products that enable us to reduce the time it takes to renew different types of pipe systems.

Over a number of years, we have developed advanced quality and environmental management systems which we keep up-to-date on our intranet. In this way, we ensure anchoring of our values throughout the organisation.

In so far as concerns environmental management, we are certified according to DS/EN ISO 1401. The certification covers product development, production, laboratory analysis and logistics for No-Dig pipe renewal.

As an important part of our environmental management, we prepare green accounts each year. This takes place in the form of an environmental report in which energy consumption, raw material consumption and waste volume are managed and controlled. Each year, we set up new objectives for our continued work to improve environmental conditions and health and safety at work.

In 2008, Aarsleff Pipe Technologies agreed on an extensive working environment policy which includes extraordinary measures for maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
